Born in Bucktown, (Metairie) Louisiana, Brandy currently resides on the Northshore with her husband Mike and her daughters, Jessica and Jordan.
She is a veteran in the United States Marine Corps and a firm believer in freedom: inner and outer. Brandy holds a B.S. in Science of Accounting with a minor in both Biology and History.
Brandy has practiced the philosophy of consciousness with her parents all of her life; but, at age 17 became aware of the organic benefits the full practice embodies.
Using the practice of Yoga while proudly serving her country and maneuvering an ever-changing life has allowed her first hand use of the philosophy and physicality in application and technique.
She is Certified & Insured with Yoga Alliance as an “Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher” (Yoga Alliance #63043) and is a Certified Herbologist. All of her lineage training has been by the way of Sri T Krishnamacharya lineage (TKV Desikachar-centred) including an additional 300+ hours of philosophy studies within the ancient texts.
Her current schedule includes a variety of public and private yoga classes. All of her classes include teaching pranayama and philosophy. She also teaches a specialty class to veterans suffering from PTSD and those in need of clarity though meditation and focus techniques. She is also looking forward to her next level of education in Ayurvedic Consulting.
Brandy knows all the answers already reside within YOU.
Her goal is to be able to bring that into a classroom so all can live with EASE.
