A lovely Theraputic prop style class. Is great for those looking to restore flexibility and or work deeply into muscle joints and tissues, wonderful for injury recoveries, and just plain old wonderful for your body!! The focus is less on strength building and more on restoration, de-stressing, and relaxation. Welcome.

This class is intermediate blend of two styles of Yoga asana, and a lil philosophy aiding in closing your day on a positive and reflective “feeling”. Movements along with breathing techniques and appropriately sequenced classes: moving from Gross to Subtle. Shorter, cooler flows! A natural room temperature. Easier to remember sequences will integrate traditional poses, breathing techniques, and incorporate balances and pranayama (breathwork). Poses (asana) are linked together by breath. The vigorous flows are set to upbeat music to increase the detoxification of the body through sweating.

Beginners 6-week Yoga Workshop

Introduction to yoga in a fully explained class. 101 is perfect for the beginner student or the practiced yogi working to hone their existing practice, master poses and proper alignment. The focus is on the fundamentals of poses, basic breathing technique, basic prop usage, fuller concentration & understanding on the traditions, and LOTS of relaxation. This class will restore energy, reduce stress, and make a pathway for your mind to listen to your body. IF your doctor or chiropractic is telling you to try yoga , or you just have always wanted to learn , this is your STEP 1.
It is set up as a once a week for 2 hrs, 6-week, workshop. There is an amazing book “read” that will help to guide you (reads like a wonderful novel) and everyone will get to, comfortably, participate within the class. We think this a very fun way to learn yoga and meet those who are at the starting line to an amazing journey. On the last day of the workshop, catered, you will leave knowing yoga for YOU & understanding what yoga asana class is perfect for YOU to attend to keep with your new practice.
